First Session. Lets go!

 31st of October 2025. Our group met with Mr. Zihad for a briefing about the Aerospace Discovery Center and the GiG Experience Programme at Hangar, USM Engineering Campus. He explained the procedure, task, and purpose of this program. We have chosen Microlight Shark as our project, and our main objective is to restore the plane's former glory. What makes it more interesting is that he let us use our own imagination to make the plane alive again. So, it's time to use our big brains to work😎. 

We also didn't forget to hop on the Royal Malaysian Navy (RMN) Westland Wasp cockpit. 



  

There are also Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Aermacchi MB-339AM M34-09 at our hangar.

11th of November 2025. We begin our session by removing rust from any part using the grinding provided by Mr. Zihad. Nothing to see here it's just three of us grinding the rust away 😄. Then, we proceed with washing our Microlight Shark to make it look neater and cleaner. That's all from us for now. There will be more soon! 😏

Pre-paint work.

 9th of December 2025. The main objectives for this session are to open up the broken chair and the fabric at the tail. The first thing we did was remove the rivet that binds the broken chair and the fabric to the frame.  Syahmi is removing the rivets using a drill to open up the broken chair.  Mission accomplish! Off to the next objective. Danish in action 😎 Farhan tried to remove the head cover, but unfortunately we didn't succeed because of the front wheel. It rust so bad that it can't be removed and Mr. Zihad just ask us to make a cut.  Today's session is definitely a new experience for us. Can't wait for the next agenda 👀. Stay tune!
